Tim Wissemann - President
Tim began to learn about wine in High School while working in a high end French Restaurant on Long Island, New York. His thirst for beer began while he attended Colby College and travelled to Canada to seek out different beers. After graduating  from Colby, Tim spent his time as an insurance executive and then he and his wife purchased some retail franchises located in The Maine Mall. Eventually he owned and operated a retail beverage store in Portland which he sold to start Mariner Beverages. Tim and Michelle enjoy raising their twin boys (age 17), Lil' Chief, entertaining, cooking, travelling, skiing, and of course, boating, which is where the name comes from.

Michelle Wissemann

Michelle, a Clark University graduate, started her career in Marketing and then went on to own and operate Photography and Custom Framing businesses. She joined Mariner Beverages in 2011 to help Tim grow the Company. She takes care of administrative operations including:  HR, accounts payable and receivable, compliance, and other fun stuff. When not working, Michelle enjoys her family, including Lil' Chief, travelling, tennis, photography, skiing, and boating.

Chris Plumstead - Sales Manager

Chris comes to Mariner Beverages with over 27 years of experience in sales management from the beverage and publishing worlds.  He has held the same position at Central Distributors and Colonial Distributors. He is WSET level III certified and a consummate lover and enthusiast of wine and craft beer. In his personal life he plays lead guitar in Gunther Brown, a Portland original roots rock band. An added bonus that makes it possible now for Mariner to have a full 5 piece band.  Chris also enjoys gardening, cooking, hiking and foraging mushrooms.

Neil Carroll - Operations Manager

Neil keeps things running smoothly. With Mariner since 2008, Neil started as a delivery guy and paid attention to what goes on. He processes orders and takes care of inventory. When not working, Neil plays drums in a rock and roll band. When you need to get an answer, Neil is the man. A University of Maine grad and an avid New England sports fan, Neil likes nothing better than a big bold red watching the Bruins or a chilled sour watching the Red Sox.

Phil McCormack - Sales Representative

Phil has been working at Mariner Beverages since 2009 and covers sales for the midcoast region. He has taken many wine courses and recently finished a Wine Making class at the University of California, Davis and will continue to pursue his wine knowledge at Davis. When not out selling Mariner products he enjoys fine woodworking, foraging for wild mushrooms, biking and spending time with family. A graduate of the University of Maine, Phil worked at L.L. Bean for 23 years in Product Development, Inventory, Retail and Customer Service prior to joining Mariner.

Ezra Provost - Sales Representative

Ezra joined Mariner in 2012 after working as a representative for Central Distributors. Having the dubious distinction of growing up in Massachusetts, Ezra fell in love with Maine while attending The College of the Atlantic in Bar Harbor. He is a veteran of the restaurant industry; his last position being beverage director for Havana Restaurant. He fell in love with wine while living and working in San Francisco at the acclaimed 2 Michelin Star Restaurant, Aqua. He passed the advanced level WSET with Distinction. He really wants you to like him.

Glenn "Ebo" Perry - Sales Representative

Glenn Eben Perry, a.k.a. Ebo, has a long history of fun and games with food and drink. It all started in his days at Bowdoin College. Older boys and girls will remember him from Portland restaurants of the 80's. In the 90's he sold wine and beer for Colonial Distributors and National Distributors. He then took a hiatus to sell pharmacueticals before returning. He still plays in a cover band, "Misspent Youth", and likes nothing more than an IPA, or a glass of rose' and a BLT. Ebo loves the business.

Andrew Menard - Sales Representative

Andrew comes to Mariner after having spent the previous 5 year in a similar position with Pine State Beverage Company. Prior to that, he spent 5 years learning about the industry by working at the highly acclaimed Arrows Restaurant in Ogunquit, Maine. A graduate of the University of Southern Maine, Andrew enjoys skiing, theatre, and yoga, as well as being a self-described "foodie." In his spare Time, Andrew co owns and operates Casco Bay Butter Company with his siblings.

Kevin Roper - Sales Representative

Kevin was previously a merchandiser at Central Distributors before joining Mariner. Kevin is also a musician and a doting father to his young son.

Kate Putnoky - Sales Representative

A New Jersey native with a background in library science, as well as teaching high school english, kate enjoys literature and the arts of all sorts.  She also enjoys live music and experimenting in the kitchen.  With more than 15 years in the wine/beer business, Kate enjoys sipping a nice glass of rose as much as an imperial stout.

Molly Saunders - Merchandising & Sales

A Northern New England native, Molly comes from a large family and is a huge fan of all New England sports teams. She can talk football with the best of them.  Molly has always been involved in athletics, playing field hockey at Plymouth State.  She gained knowledge of the craft beer and speciallty wine business as a bartender in resort communities after college. Molly enjoys spending her free time traveling, listening to music, spending time with her friends and family and any outdoor activities. 

Mike Adell - Warehouse & Route Operations

Mike joined Mariner after several years in a similar position with Native Maine Produce and Specialty Foods. Mike enjoys loud music in the warehouse while he keeps it functioning seemlessly.

Ernie "Elvis" Farr - Delivery & Warehouse

Ernie has been with Mariner since 2007. He is the elder statesman in many ways. Ernie previously worked as a deliver driver for Tally's. When Ernie is not working, he enjoys old time Rock and Roll, cooking, and his little tiny fluffy dog named Thor.

Shawn MacMaster - Delivery & Warehouse

Shawn comes to Mariner from FedEx where they have taught him the finer points of logistics and delivery. When not drinking beer he enjoys rooting for all New England Sports teams as well as snowboarding.

Keegan McCormick - Delivery, Warehouse, Draft Services

Keegan joined the Mariner team part-time and became full-time in August 2014.. Keegan hails from the great North Woods of Washington County. Keegan also spends an abundant amount of time working at the State Theater helping to promote the local music scene.

Chris Bradley - Delivery, Warehouse

A Connecticut native and graduate of The University of Hartford.  Chris joined Mariner Beverages with a wealth of customer service skills.  When not working at Mariner Chris can be found with his camera enjoying freelance photography and video production.

Eric Ambrose - Delivery Driver & Warehouse

With a background in the restuarant business and a Bachelor of Music from USM, Eric is a talented multi-instumentalist, who enjoys performing, arranging and recording music. He is a welcome addition to the Mariner "Band".  Eric is also an avid sailor, who you will most likely find exploring the islands of Casco Bay aboard his sailboat, Counterpoint.

Brendan Hayter - Delivery Driver & Warehouse

Brendan has a wealth of wine distributing and customer service experience in Massachusetts. His passion lies in music where he writes, records and performs music in his spare time. Another great addition to the Mariner "Band".  

Jared Edwin - Delivery Driver & Warehouse

Jared has a lengthy background in the service & music industries. Outside of Mariner Beverages he can be found working or attending a wide array of concert events in the local music scene as well as all over the country.
