Our History

Mariner Beverages‘s history started several years ago when Tim Wissemann realized the market potential for an independent wholesale wine and beer industry and started his own wholesale business for alcoholic beverages. Until then, retail shops, grocery stores, bars, and restaurants in Maine had always relied on other distributors for mainstream products. 

Years later, local service businesses are still among Mariner Beverages‘s regular customers and many more have joined them – from bars and restaurants to shops and hotels. Mariner Beverages supplies a wide variety of customers throughout Maine.
